We are seeking a skilled technician to join our team, specializing in Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various ELV systems, including but not limited to security, communication, and automation systems.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, intercom, and fire alarm systems.
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on ELV systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in ELV systems, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure project timelines and specifications are met.
- Document all work performed, including system configurations, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting steps.
- Provide technical support and training to clients and end-users on ELV system operation and maintenance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in ELV technologies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an ELV Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of ELV systems, including installation and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with relevant safety standards and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications in ELV systems or related fields are a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to various job sites as needed.
