We are looking for Monitoring and Enforcement Officers to be assigned with our client Environment and Resources Authority (ERA) to carry out environmental monitoring and compliance duties

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake enforcement action including issue of on-the-spot fines and/or warnings.
• Carry out investigations, handle operational responses, attend to situations and emergencies that may arise and provide written reports.
• Liaise with other law enforcement agencies as appropriate.
• Collect evidence to sustain any infringements observed and report accordingly.
• Take measures to ensure identification of contraveners, including but not limited to, opening of waste bags.

Skills and Requirements

• Experience in a similar law enforcement / guarding role.
• Valid Security Guard licence issued by the Malta Commissioner of Police.
• Valid driving licence.
• School Leaving Certificate.
• Ability to ride and use a scooter and e-bike.
• Clean Police conduct.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in Maltese and English
• Ability to use smart phones and tablets (training will be provided).
• Ability to handle demanding situations and people.
• A nautical licence will be considered an asset (and paid additionally)
