Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Sales to lead our sales team in the services industry. This role requires a strong focus on strategic planning, team leadership, and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical and reporting skills and the ability to analyse sales metrics to drive growth and improve performance.
Key Responsibilities:
· Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and enhances market share in the services industry.
· Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve targets, ensuring continuous professional development and performance improvement.
· Sales Reporting: Design and implement robust reporting frameworks to track sales performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
· Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to assess sales forecasts, customer behaviours, and market trends, making informed decisions to optimize sales strategies.
· Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
· Collaboration: Work closely with Operations, HR, Technology and Finance teams to align strategies and share insights that support overall business objectives.
· Performance Metrics: Establish a sales and operations process to create sales targets and pipeline management together with key performance indicators (KPIs) with the aim to evaluate sales team effectiveness and operational efficiency vs company sales strategy.
· Market Research: Stay abreast of industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging trends to inform sales strategies.
Qualifications:
Proven experience (5+ years) in sales leadership within the services industry.
Strong analytical skills with experience in sales reporting and performance analysis.
Preferably in possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; (MBA preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office and sales analytics tools.
