Role

We are looking for licenced Security Officers to be assigned with our client Environment and Resources Authority (ERA) to carry out environmental monitoring and compliance duties

Key Responsibilities:

• Environmental & Resource Agency Security Officers undertake enforcement action including issue of on-the-spot fines and/or warnings.
• Carry out investigations, handle operational responses, attend to situations and emergencies that may arise and provide written reports.
• Liaise with other law enforcement agencies as appropriate.
• Collect evidence to sustain any infringements observed and report accordingly.

Skills and Requirements

• Experience in a similar law enforcement / guarding role.
• Valid Security Guard licence issued by the Commissioner of Police Malta
• Valid driving licence
• School Leaving Certificate
• Ability to handle demanding situations and people
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in Maltese and English
• Ability to use smart phones and tablets (training will be provided)
• A nautical licence will be considered an asset (and paid additionally)
