Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled individual to join our team as a Speed Camera Maintenance Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, calibration, repair, and routine maintenance of fixed speed enforcement cameras to ensure optimal performance and legal compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Setup:

• Install and configure speed enforcement cameras at designated locations.
• Ensure proper alignment, power supply, and connectivity of equipment.

Maintenance & Repairs:

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of speed cameras.
• Diagnose and repair faults in camera systems, sensors, and communication modules.
• Replace or upgrade hardware and software components as needed.

Calibration & Testing:

• Perform routine calibration of speed detection systems to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct functional tests and document results in compliance with legal standards.

Data Management:

• Ensure secure data transmission from cameras to central processing systems.
• Maintain logs of maintenance activities, faults, and repairs.

Compliance & Safety:

• Adhere to traffic safety regulations and health & safety protocols during fieldwork.
• Ensure all equipment meets regulatory standards and is tamper-proof.

Reporting:

• Provide detailed reports on maintenance activities, incidents, and system performance.
• Liaise with law enforcement or municipal authorities as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Technical diploma or degree in electronics, telecommunications, or a related field.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Familiarity with networking and data transmission protocols.
• Experience with traffic enforcement systems or similar electronic equipment.
• Ability to work independently and in outdoor environments.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various sites.
